That is one of the prefecture in Japan.
Hokkaido is the northernmost island of Japan.
Let me introduce
"Hokkaido cheese steamed cake"
This name is "cake" but it is sweetened bun.
In old time that named Hokkaido cheese steamed bread.
However Frozen it grew in popularity in 1990.
It become that taste likes cheese cake!!
So the name changed!
